Activists, pleasure advocates, sex educators, and social workers.

Afrosexology was birthed from the desire to experience a more sex-positive Black community. Their mission is to explore, educate, and reclaim Black sexuality; to promote Black self empowerment through sexual liberation. The organization’s owners, Dalychia and Rafaella—two Black women who are at once pleasure advocates, sex educators, social workers, activists, and creators—are passionate about empowering people to live their most pleasurable lives. The pair have traveled nationwide and internationally, successfully engaging with over 10,000 people through community workshops, conferences, webinars, and social media. The organization provides a tool for healing the Black community: it encourages agency, promotes self love, and focuses on liberating Black bodies from inherited oppression of sex and the body.
